Ingredients:
13 oz smoked turkey sausage
5-6 bell peppers
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Serve with: 1/2-1cups of cooked rice- white, brown, jasmine, etc.
(rice quantity dependent on your current goals)
Preparation:
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
Wash and cut peppers and turkey sausage into bite-sized pieces while oven is pre-heating. Add everything to a large pan and season with cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 30-40mins, stirring halfway through.
(Optional: cook rice while waiting for peppers and sausage to cook).
Step 3
Evenly portion out sausage and peppers into 4 servings, serve over rice!
